WORK ETHICS (INSIGHT)

 First of all, I would like to congratulate the staff and host of the event for the successful webinar, to the students and faculties who attended and received the certificates.

As a student, it is important to know what is right and wrong, it is a basis if we are qualified to do something that they give to us. According to Janna Cachole, “Professionalism shouldn’t be define by a person’s paycheck, role or title. It should be define by a person’s wo
rk ethics”, of course, people work ethics is the best definition of prof
essionalism. It is the behavior and the attitude of the employee that matters when you are in the work, because of this behavior and attitude the workplace may be more enjoyable to work it gives the colleagues to perform more comfortable. The attitude and the behavior may depend on the person’s role or title also because if you are the boss or the CEO of the company, you’re not always be nice to your colleagues that is below your position because if you are too nice being a boss or CEO the other employees may be think that it is okay to be late, or others. Giving a respect and discipline is one big thing that everyone that should have, because it is like a bridge that may connect to the other employees heart.

Work ethics is a very important moral principle or values inside the workplace. Except in the behavior and attitude, work ethics lead us to success because it set the standard on what to do and what needs to do more. It is a foundation in th
e workplace, so the employers during the interview for the job in the company they watch the employees vigilantly or observe them how they will respond to the question being asked to th
em or how they dress, they also observe during the employment because they also dependent on the promotion based on what they see, the evaluation result, and the performance of the employee in the company or in the school or in any public and private sector.

In Work ethics it is important to set a good example to the others especially if you’re in the top position because if your ethics are poor, then there are big possibilities that those behavior that you showed will be copy down through the organization and it is not good for the productivity of the individuals and to the organization itself because according to Robert Noyce “If ethics are poor at the top, that behavior is copied down through the organization”.

Work ethics should not only be applied on work but let’s practice and apply it when we are in our home or in every activities we do, because it will help us to make it a hobby or improve so that whenever or wherever we apply we can easily manage to show the good ethics. I myself trying to Improve and practice the good ethical towards work so that in the future even if it is not enough to show the ethical way but at least I can give the impression that I can manage to face the challenges with commitment and discipline towards work.
