Alumni Talks (INSIGHT)

     In this webinar, the instructors or the seniors share their experiences, the sacrifices, the pain, the hard works, and etc. that they faced when they choose and enroll in the IT course. It is an honor for us to be present on that time because they already experience the things that we also experience and we didn’t not experience yet. 

Although we, who enrolled in the IT course have different abilities to show, in every field we are knowledgeable to confidently achieve or finish the task that was given by the instructors and some are gaining more experience and knowledge to have a better result or output. I also experienced that taking the task is so hard for me to achieve or to finish in the given limited time, but thanks to this pandemic that I have given a chance to finish my task even the due date is over. We experienced a lot like having a hard time to do any task given to us in school, having an easy and hard time for our family, doing the things that what we need to want to do in our life, but this is just part of our growth that if we want to learn something, if we want to grow as a man and a woman, and to easily adopt to the surrounding we should experience failure and success. Failure is just a common result that we can learn from, it is a way to feel and think that we have so much to learn more not just on the school, not just on the work but in every day after we woke up in the morning.

    During the Webinar, the host was being asked if why they chose the IT course, some of them was answered because of their influence of their friends but for me I choose IT course because I gave a promise to someone actually there are two person that I promised that I will continue to learn more about technology, I will continue what are they started, and I will continue to study this IT course so that I will surpass them and make them proud of me not just them those people I was given a promise but also to the people who supports me since I was studying in elementary especially my family who give unconditional love and support.

    As I conclude this Insight of mine, I will share the important things that I learned and experienced from my college life in DORSU. In life, we experience a lot of terrible things that we don’t expect or we expect to happen, we experience an easy or good life, but those terrible experiences that we may experience we should not afraid to depend on the people who are there to help us, because of them we can’t feel lonely, they are the reason why we should move forward in life and keep on chasing our dreams. College life is not easy as you think, it needs time, effort, family and friends to finish studies or to achieve our goal in life.
