storing, mining, and archiving data. There are types of data management, first
is product information management, second is master data management, third is
data modeling, and lastly data warehouse that will help you to avoid necessary
errors like data consistency, time consuming and many others. Like this
pandemic COVID-19 we see a lot of data that being recorded every day or in a
company, or in an organization. Because
of Data Management, it helps business users across the organization to smart

interactions, holistic security that safeguard critical information, alignment
with relevant compliance standards, saving money and time, machine learning
that grows more environmentally aware over time, powering automatic and
continuous improvement and to reduced operating expenses by restricting use to
only the necessary storage and compute power required for optimal performance.
Data Management best practices first is to have a plan, everything that you do needs a plan to make sure that your data is secured and all actions needed is all on your plan. Second is to store your data, it is important to store your data in the secured database, you need first to identify which database needed to be fit with your data whether the company’s data belongs on-premises or in the cloud. In storing data, we need to consider the security as mention above, creating back-up if ever the system collapsed or being hack, the consistency of data that will result to errors and make sure to document the actions doing on the system. Lastly is to share your data with the appropriate people after storing, securing and documenting your data
It is important to know on how to organize the file and the folder so that it is easy to navigate and to locate, it is also to lessen the time that it consumes. In the file management, it is a process and an act of creating an organized structure in which you stored information and retrieved easy. It important to know the file extension so that you can easily know what file you’re clicking for and sometimes in the file extension you can see if it is a virus or not. For the Beginners, it is important to know on how to operate the basic commands that runs on the computer example how to copy files, delete files, move files and etc. It is important to categorize the folders especially if you are working in the companies, they have a lot of files in a single folder, now as a user of the computer it is easy for you to search or locate where the files is. As a user, the cleanliness of your files reflect your personality, and attitude. For the Naming convention also, it is important to maintain the Consistency, Convenience, and Clarity. It is essential to establish a convention before you begin collecting files or data in order to prevent a backlog of unorganized content that will lead to misplaced or data lost.
