The Cybersecurity Awareness webinar that being held on February 08, 2022 was a big help and encouragement to those people who always attend or had online meetings especially to those teachers and students who are engaged in an online classes because of pandemic and to those people who always use technology in their daily lives. Since most of the technology users are in teenagers, we should aware of the things that we do before clicking a button. We should not give our information too much on the internet since we don’t know when it will hack. Having a tight security is a best solution from the hackers. If you are curious about something in terms of technology. Don’t be too confident if you don’t know anything about it, ask someone who have the capability or knowledge about on how or what kind of it is.
As we experienced the pandemic the COVID-19, most schools or universities engaged in an online classes, as a teacher or instructor it is important to secure the meetings like providing passwords that can’t be easily hijack, don’t shared the code on any social media and always check your students based on your students list so that the meeting can’t be interfere with the other student or people doesn’t include on your class.
Cyberbullying is one of the most problematic situation that some of us experienced, it may brought to us to depress or even commit suicide. Most people who experienced this are those people who lack confidence to themselves or those people who doesn’t have experienced love or support. To fight with cyberbullying, According to the Presentation of Michael Jolo during the Webinar, don’t respond those people who always bully. Save the evidence through screenshot so that anything happen it can be used. Reach out for help, we have a lot of agencies that we can reach on like PNP, DSWD, Sumbongan ng bayan like Raffy Tulfo and etc. of course you need to block the bullies to avoid them to tag you or mention you from any social media. Be a friend, not a bystander. Protect your account, it is important to secure your account especially to the people who always use your gadget where it can be seen your important data and so that it can’t be hack easily. And lastly, be a good and responsible digital citizen, of course we should know what is right and wrong of using gadgets since this is already part of our daily lives.
